Performance

Evomi publishes two specific performance figures visible during the registration flow:

  • 500ms average response time (stated on the registration page)
  • 99.9% uptime across all proxy products

The Datacenter proxy product advertises a faster 200ms response time, which is consistent with the lower latency typically associated with server-hosted IPs compared to residential pools.

MetricEvomi Figure
Uptime99.9%
Avg. response time (Residential)500ms
Avg. response time (Datacenter)200ms
Residential IP pool (Core)50M+
Residential IP pool (Premium)100M+
Datacenter IPs500K+ in 10K+ datacenters
Country coverage150+ (proxy) / 195+ (mobile)
Max sticky session duration1,440 minutes (24 hours)

The live chat AI agent also cited a 99.95% connection success rate and response times of under 0.5s for residential, approximately 0.5s for mobile, and approximately 0.45s for datacenter.

These figures come from Evomi’s own support system and reflect the provider’s stated position rather than an independent benchmark.

Performance verdict

Evomi’s published figures are specific and consistent across the registration page, product cards, and support responses. The 99.9% uptime is in line with the strongest providers in this series.

The 500ms residential response time sits slightly above providers like Infatica’s published 0.4s figure, while the 200ms datacenter figure is competitive for server-hosted IPs.

Buyers who require independently verified latency data should note that Evomi does not currently publish a third-party benchmark, and the free trial is the most direct way to validate performance against real targets.

Ease of Use

I evaluated four stages: the homepage, the registration flow, the dashboard and purchase process, and the post-purchase dashboard that users encounter every day.

1. Registration

Evomi’s homepage leads with residential proxies at $0.49/GB alongside two CTAs: “Try for free” and “View Pricing.”

screenshot of Evomi's homepage

Clicking “Try for free” opens a split-screen registration page.

The right panel contains the “Create account” form. A “Sign up with Google” button appears at the top.

The manual form below collects first name, last name, email address, and password. There is no use-case dropdown, making it among the simplest registration forms.

screenshot of Evomi registration form

After submitting, a full-page “Verify your email” screen confirms the verification link has been sent. After clicking the link in the email, the login proceeds immediately.

2. The Dashboard and Purchasing

After verifying the email and logging in, the dashboard opens on the Overview page with a personal greeting.

screenshot of Evomi registration form

This is where you purchase your first proxy product, and it is designed to make that as straightforward as possible.

Two tabs structure the entire product catalog:

  • Proxies: Core Residential, Premium Residential, Static Residential, Datacenter Proxies, Mobile Proxies
  • Scraping (NEW): Scraping Browser (Beta), Scraper API (Beta)

On the Proxies tab, five product cards are laid out in a grid. Each card shows the product name, starting price, four or five checkmarked features, and a primary CTA button.

To purchase, you click the relevant button on the product card. For Core Residential:

  1. Clicking “Free Trial” navigates to the Core Residential pricing page inside the dashboard
  2. Two options are presented side by side: Core Membership ($0.49/GB, $49.99/month for 100GB) and Pay As You Go ($0.99/GB, no expiry, no commitment)

screenshot of Evomi dashboard

  1. Clicking “Free Trial” on the Core Membership opens a checkout modal
  2. The modal shows the plan, a $0.00 total for the trial, and payment fields pre-filled with your name and email

screenshot of Evomi payment methods

  1. Payment method tabs offer Visa/Mastercard and Google Pay
  2. After entering billing details, the order completes and the proxy product is activated immediately

The top of the dashboard includes a Feedback button (a direct channel to the Evomi team), a Dark Mode toggle, a language selector supporting English, Russian, Chinese, and German, and a power/logout icon.

The persistent left sidebar contains Documentation, Network Status, and FAQ links under a Tools section, which are available from the first login onward.

Verdict
Purchase verdict: The two-click path from the Overview to a working free trial is one of the cleanest purchase flows I have encountered. The tab structure prevents product overload, and the color-coded Free Trial buttons remove any ambiguity about which products have no-cost entry.

4. The Dashboard After Purchase

Once a proxy product is active, the dashboard changes meaningfully. A “MY PRODUCTS” section appears at the top of the left sidebar, listing each active plan with a PAYG or subscription tag. This gives a persistent at-a-glance view of what is active without navigating anywhere.

screenshot of Evomi dashboard

The main panel switches from the pre-purchase product catalog to the Evomi Dashboard view, structured around two tabs:

  • Proxy Solutions: Shows the proxy products the user has access to, with feature checkmarks and See Pricing buttons for each
  • API Products: Shows the scraping products

The three product cards visible after purchase are Residential Proxies, Datacenter Proxies, and Mobile Proxies. Each card lists what is included.

Below the product cards, a “Looking for something else?” section surfaces three useful tiles:

  • A featured user testimonial with a photo and role
  • A Money Back Guarantee tile (“No questions asked. If you used less than 1GB or 10% and you’re not satisfied, we’ll refund you in full.”)
  • An Evomi for Startups tile (up to 300GB/month of completely free proxies to selected startups)

At the very bottom of the page, social and documentation links appear: GitHub, LinkedIn, Telegram, and a Documentation shortcut. This is what most users will see on every login: a clean summary of their active products, quick links to pricing if they want to upgrade, and the support and documentation resources they need to get work done.

5. Proxy Management

With the dashboard explored, I wanted to understand what day-to-day proxy management actually looks like once you are set up and working.

Evomi provides a proxy generator widget for configuring your connection. You select your protocol, filtering parameters, rotation settings, and pool mode, and the widget generates a list of entry points in several output formats.

screenshot of Evomi Proxy Generator

The interface is straightforward and does what it needs to do without requiring you to dig into documentation to get started.

One limitation worth noting is that you cannot set a custom username or choose your own password. The system generates credentials automatically on request.

So, if you have multiple team members who need to work with the proxies independently, the credential management becomes something you have to handle outside the platform.

Usage statistics are available per product. Each product view gives you two graphs:

  • One tracking traffic volume
  • One tracking request count

screenshot of Evomi Residential Proxies statistic

Both can be filtered across several time windows: today, the last 3, 7, 14, or 30 days. There is also a table showing request statistics by domain, though this only covers the last 12 hours in aggregate.

It’s enough to spot patterns and flag issues, even if it does not offer the kind of deep historical granularity that larger operations might want.

On API access, Evomi does have a management API, but it is gated behind a 5TB minimum purchase and is only available to resellers.

Standard accounts do not get programmatic access to account management, which is a meaningful gap for teams that want to automate proxy provisioning.

Overall ease of use verdict

Evomi is the most polished dashboard at this price point. The tab-based product catalog, free trial access in two clicks, Dark Mode, and multilingual support all reflect deliberate design decisions rather than afterthoughts.

The post-purchase view is equally clean, giving users an immediate read on what they have active and what is available next. The proxy generator widget is simple and functional.

The main gaps for team users are the lack of sub-user access and the API being locked behind a 5TB reseller threshold.

Level of Support

Evomi advertises 24/7 support on both its homepage and its registration page. The live chat is accessible via the chat icon in the bottom right corner of every dashboard page. For this review, I tested it directly.

The Chat

Opening the chat widget reveals a “Hi, How can we help?” greeting alongside team member profile photos and three options: Ask a question, Frequently Asked Questions, and Our Documentation. A System Status tile shows “All services are online.”

I typed the standard question used across this review series: “Do you support both rotating and sticky sessions? What’s the maximum sticky session duration?”

Evomi’s Helper responded immediately. The agent is an AI, not a human.

The response was technically precise:

“Yes, we support both rotating and sticky sessions. For sticky sessions, the maximum duration is 1440 minutes (24 hours) when you set a session lifetime (for example, _lifetime-1440). If you need an IP that stays as long as possible (no automatic rotation), use a hard session instead.”

screenshot of Evomi Livechat conversation

This answer confirmed:

  • Both rotating and sticky sessions are supported
  • The configurable maximum is 1,440 minutes (24 hours) using the _lifetime-1440 parameter
  • Hard sessions are available for IP persistence beyond the configured interval, held for as long as the underlying device stays online

A technically complete answer with no follow-up needed. Where things became more complicated was the moment I asked to speak with a human.

Escalating to a Human

First attempt: I asked: “Can I please speak with a human support agent?”

The AI did not route me. Instead, it asked: “Yes, Isaac – you can speak with a human support agent. Before I route you, what’s the exact issue you want them to help with (billing, proxies, sessions, API, or something else)? You can reach a human via Live chat on our website or Email: support@evomi.com.”

I replied “Something else.”

The AI still did not route me. It asked again: “Got it, Isaac. Before I route you to a human, what’s the ‘something else’ about? Please reply with 1 line describing the issue. Once you share that, you can reach a human via the internal chat in our Dashboard or by emailing support@evomi.com (responses aren’t guaranteed to be immediate).”

screenshot of Evomi Livechat conversation

At this point, I asked a performance question to see if the AI could answer it. It did, citing a 99.95% connection success rate and specific response time figures by proxy type.

Second attempt: I said: “I’d like to escalate this to a human representative please.”

The AI responded with the exact same ask: “Isaac, I can help you get to a human, but I need one detail first so they can pick it up quickly. What is the issue about in 1 line?”

I asked: “Is this the internal chat or is there another one?” The AI confirmed this was the only chat channel, and again offered email as an alternative, noting that email responses are not guaranteed to be immediate.

screenshot of Evomi Livechat conversation

Third attempt: I said: “I’d like to escalate this to a human representative please. Question is on restricted websites on your network. And I’d like the human rep to answer, not you.”

Only at this point did the AI respond: “I understand your preference, Isaac. I’m routing you to a human representative now who can assist you further.”

screenshot of Evomi Livechat conversation

Immediately after, it added: “The team will get back to you on this. Evomi will be back later today.”

The time was 11:25 PM.

The phrase “back later today” implied the team was done for the night.

The Human Response

I posted my question: “Hello. Are there any websites or use cases that are restricted on your network?”

Alexander joined the conversation 15 minutes later and replied: “Hello, we dont block any websites.”

Direct, clear, and faster than the AI’s own messaging suggested. Despite being told the team would be back “later today,” a human agent responded within 15 minutes at 11:25 PM.

screenshot of Evomi livechat conversation

The answer itself required one sentence and confirmed that Evomi places no restrictions on target websites.

The issue with the support experience was not the human response time. Fifteen minutes at nearly midnight is a reasonable turnaround. The issue was the journey to get there: three separate escalation attempts, each met with a different deflecting question from the AI before it would route.

And when it finally did route, the language it used (“back later today”) set a false expectation about how long the wait would be.

Documentation

The Docs link opens a dedicated documentation hub. The left sidebar covers:

  • Proxy Instructions (Residential, Mobile, Datacenter, Proxy Generator, Proxy Protocols, Integration Guides)
  • Scraping Products Instructions (Scraping Browser, Scraper API)
  • Public API
  • Frequently Asked Questions
  • Integrations

screenshot of Evomi Documentation

The documentation is well-organized, searchable, and supports a dark mode toggle. It is a strong self-service option for users who prefer to find answers independently before engaging support.

My Verdict on Support

Key observations:

  • The AI agent (Evomi’s Helper) is technically capable and gave an accurate, complete answer to the sticky session question immediately
  • Asking to speak with a human required three separate attempts, with each request met by the AI asking for more detail before it would route
  • The AI’s phrasing after finally routing (“back later today”) set a false expectation: Alexander joined within 15 minutes at 11:25 PM, which is a reasonable human response time at that hour
  • Despite the “24/7 support” claim on the registration page, it is the AI that handles initial contacts at all hours; human agents are available but not guaranteed to be instant
  • When Alexander did join, his answer was direct and required only one sentence: no websites are blocked on the network
  • Documentation is comprehensive and well-structured as a self-service alternative

The 8.0/10 score reflects the technical quality of the AI layer and the reasonable 15-minute human response time, balanced against a deflection-heavy escalation process that required persistence to get through.

Conclusion: Do We Recommend Evomi?

Yes, with a clear note on support availability.

The proxy product lineup is well-structured. Core Residential at $0.49/GB is the right starting point for most buyers. Premium Residential at $2.15/GB serves use cases that need maximum IP quality. Datacenter at $0.35/GB is genuinely competitive for speed-first workloads.

The support situation deserves honest acknowledgment. The AI agent is fast and technically accurate. The human team answers when they are available.

For individual developers, small teams, and data professionals who want a well-priced, ethically sourced Swiss proxy provider with a polished interface and a zero-risk free trial, Evomi is a strong option.
